    Description

Translation of this large vintage Chinese wall scroll showed that is was painted by Lei Zhen Faun in Summer of 1955. Done on parchment/rice paper (?) with silk and measures 73" long x 27" wide. It is a Song/Poem about "Walking Down Along the River Edge". Hand painte and signed.  I am unsure if Lei actually wrote this song but with his history (below) I believe it to be an original by him. Scroll is in overall very good condition for age but does show some age wear along edges and attachment to wood bars. Still very sturdy for hanging
Lei Zhen Fuan was born in 1931 in Hunan Province, China. He followed Jiang KaiSek's army to Taiwan in 1949. He was enrolled in artists University and doubled majored in Painting & Music. He moved to Hong Kong in 1989.
