    ================================================
This award was hand-made by my father,  who was the primary GOLD & PLATINUM awards maker in the music industry for 50 years prior to his death in 2016 at age 91.  He made hundreds of awards dating back to the first ever Rock Gold record given to Elvis for his "Blue Suede Shoes"  album of 1956. QUEEN will soon have a new movie coming out about their extraordinary success,  focusing on one of the greatest superstars of all time - Freddie Mercury.
    A Night at the Opera
was only one of their great successes with its major hit  BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY,  often voted as one of (if not the)  greatest rock song of all time.   This award was ordered by ELEKTRA,  (EMI) when RIAA certified the album at 3-million units sold in 2002.  Never ever made available to the public,  I inherited my father's estate which included additional inventory kept on behalf of the record labels for "aftermarket" needs long after the awards were made.   Limited # available,  and anticipated high demand,  so no low-ball offers will be considered.  Seller believes inventory will sell-out at listing price.  AWARD + 2 FRAMED PICTURES.
This same exact award made by my father recently auctioned in Amsterdam for about 0 U.S.

    NARRATIVE
    A Night at the Opera
is the fourth studio album by the British rock band QUEEN
    ,
    released on 21 November 1975 by E M I  Records
in the United Kingdom and by Elektra Records
    in the United States.
It was the most expensive album ever recorded at the time of its release. The album takes its (unlikely) name from the Marx Brothers
    film of the same name
which the band watched one night at the studio complex when recording.
    A Night at the Opera
incorporates a wide range of styles, including
    ballads
, songs in a music hall
    style, hard rock
    tracks and progressive rock
    influences.
The album has been hailed as Queen’s greatest album ever and by music experts around the world as one of the greatest albums ever recorded.
The influence of superstar and unarguable musical genius,
Freddie Mercury cannot be overstated in any of the lyrics,
styles or presentation in live performances of the album’s content.
In fact,  One of Mercury's most notable performances with Queen took place at
    Live Aid
in 1985. Queen's performance at the event has since been voted by a group of music executives as the greatest live performance in the history of rock music.
Mercury's powerful, sustained note during the
    a cappella
section came to be known as "The Note Heard Round the World"
While this album received a meager “Triple Platinum”
certification from the U.S. RIAA, many times those 3 million have been sold worldwide,
and Queen has sold more than 300 million albums.
Mercury’s Bohemian Rhapsody and We Are The Champions are consistently voted two of the greatest rock songs of all time.
