NOTE: I can't remember the last time that I had such trouble describing the color. This FABULOUS sweater is a smoke white with hints of grey. I want to equate it to oatmeal - but it is not beige...

There is a black fleck on the sleeve - I believe it to be part of the threads - as there is faint motteling throughout the sweater - impossible to see in my photos and difficult to see in person. When I put it on my grey background, the sweater picks up grey...otherwise it is smoke white. Hope that helps.
