Nicely lit profile portrait by renowned NYC photographer Bogardus. Identified at the bottom in period ink is
I believe "G. B. Archen" or possibly Archin. The civil war prisoner rolls list a confederate soldier of the same name captured at Vicksburg on July 4th 1863 from the 1st Tennessee Artillery. I have no idea if this is the same man. Draw your own conclusions.
