    Description

    I am selling a rare 1889 Indian Princess Gold Coin. Only 2,300 of these coins were ever minted and many more have been melted down. Her bust is nicely outlined, with some facial features defined and every letter of "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" shows. Most of the letters of LIBERTY can be seen on the headband; and "3 Dollars" and the date are boldly visible on the reverse. The wreath still has some detail and texture and all of the reeding can be seen on most of the edge of the coin. This coin has a small amount of damage on the rim of the coin and has been cleaned at some point. Still a very scarce piece to add to any type coin collection!
