    1858 Three Dollar Gold Coin PCGS AU-58
    Just 2,133 minted and Akers states, "an 1858 in any grade is rare and it is doubtful that more than 75-100 total pieces still exist." He also says most are well worn and grade VF to XF. This is a very respectable example with strong detail and lustrous orange-gold surfaces. It has very few marks (all minor) and just a touch of wear on the high points of the design.
